The Z622 is an indirectly heated HF pentode based on the M-OV Z62. The CV1192 was based on the Z62 as were the earlier names of Navy NR79 and Army ARP21.
The envelope is coated internally making the internal structure invisible. The base cap carries the Marconi MWT logo.
At the top the three grid supports can be seen. The inner two appear to be made of copper.
The fingers of the top mica are an interference fit in the shoulder of the envelope and thus hold the electrodes rigid.
Thanks to Alex Dutton for sending these images.
The classic envelope is 31 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 88 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type Z62 was first introduced in 1939. See also 1939 adverts.
