The 33B/152M is a grounded grid double triode with separate heaters and cathodes. The valve has written on the base CV1540 and in fact the two designations refer to exactly the same valve.
The valve is designed for use as a class C push-pull RF amplifier at VHF and low UHF frequencies. The anode dissipation is typically 5.25 Watts for a modulated application. The data-sheet does not give an output power and so this valve was probably intended as a driver for a larger PA.
The anodes are taken to the top caps. The anode for each triode is a pair of flat based U sections placed either side of the central grid. The grid support can just be seen in the image.
The B9G base with central locating spigot.
Thanks to Alex Dutton for sending these images.
The wide glass tube envelope is 41 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9G base pins is 61 mm tall.
