The PCF806 is a triode pentode frequency changer for VHF television receivers and frequencies up to 220 MHz. The local oscillator is based on the triode and the mixer is the pentode.Mullard describe the PCF806 as: a triode frame-grid pentode.Within the envelope both sections have the same vertical dimension but the triode is much smaller from front to back than the pentode. The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 40 mm tall.References: Data-sheet, Data & 1040. |
