The VT68 (POVT68) from Mullard is a Post Office amplifier triode. It also has a CV number CV1651. This exhibit also has the code MV-39.
The Mullard identification.
The filament is held at the top by three tension springs and thus the filament passes through the grid/anode six times.
The coated filament wires and the top of the grid.
The classic envelope is 45 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 100 mm tall.
