The Triotron TD2 is a general purpose battery triode. It is described as a dark emitter suggesting an oxide coated filament.
The attached data-sheet is from 1927. The valve was improved in 1931 and the data-sheet for that version is here. It was further improved in 1938.
The Triotron band was made by Schrack of Austria and the attached data sheet is taken from their 1931 booklet. This booklet came in the box with the TD2.
Internal details are obscured by the silver gettering.
The balloon envelope is 48 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 86 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type TD2 was first introduced in 1927. See also 1927 adverts.
