The 25Z4G half wave rectifier was designed for series heater use.

The maximum reservoir capacitor specified is 32 µF and the minimum effective series resistance has to be 50 Ohms.

The anode is much wider than the from to back dimension.

The pinch and lower electrodes. The anode has push fit retainers on the support either side of the mica.

The classic envelope is 38 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins, is 91 mm tall.
