The SS230SP from Six Sixty is in fact a Mullard PM252 and it is a battery audio output triode.
The horizontal electrodes. A clearer view can be found on exhibit SS230SP.
The balloon envelope is 45 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 92 mm tall.
