B442Sensibly equivalent¶ to:DZ2 H410D R81 TB42

The B442 is a screen grid valve or tetrode designed for MF and HF amplification. We have another B442 with an earlier design of Bakelite top cap.
The reverse is plain gold coloured zinc paint. The top cap is of the screw variety that was displaced by the 'top hat' in the mid 1930s.The balloon envelope is 45 mm in diameter, and excluding the B5 base pins is 102 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet.
