The CCH35 is described by Mullard as a triode hexode for use as a frequency changer. The hexode section is designed for operation with AGC and thus has a variable-μ characteristic.
The CCH35 is designed for universal mains sets (AC or DC) and the heater is for series connection and runs at 0.2 Amp. The ECH35 is for AC mains and parallel heater connections with the 6.3 Volt standard imported from America.
The reverse of the envelope is plain.
The classic envelope is 35 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins is 92 mm tall.
References: Datasheet, 1040 & 1043. Type CCH35 was first introduced in 1940.
