Brimar From UKµG Members Other R2 exhibits

The R2 full wave rectifier from Brimar is a standard design with a 350 Volt 120 mA rating, it has many equivalents.

The Brimar identification and anodes held between mica sheets. The blackened anode sheets have holes either side of the central working cavity.

The anodes seen side on. The vertical rods in the centre each connect to one anode.

The insulated heater of one section. The cathode tube connects to one side of the heater.

The classic envelope is 44 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 98 mm tall.
