The 4C35A from Kuthe Laboratories, part of ITT, is a triode thyratron with a hydrogen gas filling. The peak power that the 4C35A can deliver is 350 kW.
The top of the envelope is green indicating that it is made of uranium glass. To the right side of the pinch is the hydrogen reservoir.
The base is a jumbo 4 pin with bayonet fixing. The locating pin can be seen on the base shell.
The hydrogen reservoir is the bright cylinder.
The uranium glass top to the envelope and the substantial top cap designed for the peak current of 90 Amps.
The wide glass tube envelope is 64 mm in diameter, and excluding the base pins is 152 mm tall.
