The HL1320 is triode for use on AC or DC mains and thus for use with a series heater chain. The HL1320 was designed for use as a detector or first audio voltage amplifier.
In this exhibit the zinc paint has started to corrode.
The reverse of the envelope is plain metal paint.
The classic envelope is 42 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7 base pins is 103 mm tall.
