The EF93/6BA6 is a miniature screened pentode on a B7G base. It is a variable μ valve designed for HF use.
Brimar would use the American Type designation of 6BA6 but here a nod is made to the dominance in Europe of the Mullard/Philips naming convention.
The reverse of the envelope carries the Brimar designation of 6BA6
The three wire grids of this true pentode seen through the end wall of the anode.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 51 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 1040. Type EF93 was first introduced in 1951. See also 1951 adverts.
