The L2 is a low power battery audio amplifier triode. The envelope and base are typical Lissen of the period. The identification appears faint yellow on the dome of the envelope. The Type L2 and the word Lissen can be read.
The gettering makes it difficult to see the construction.
The balloon envelope is 42 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 81 mm tall.
