The Ever Ready K30C was a Mullard PM2HL battery triode made and badged for the battery company. The K30C/PM2HL was designed to have the filament powered by an accumulator and the anode circuits powered by a dry cell stack.This is a small signal amplifier valve and has external metallising as a screen. The valve is of low impedance and low gain. The CV equivalent is CV1050.![](../pics/acf0201a.jpg)
The envelope is completely encased in gold coloured zinc paint. The balloon envelope is 41 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 80 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & 1043. Type K30C was first introduced in 1935. See also 1935 adverts. |
