The 6BA7 is a heptode mixer known in the USA as a Pentagrid converter. The attached data-sheet dates from 1948 and gives initial characteristics.
Crossley were after market resellers and RCA made the valve.
The 12BA7 differs only in heater rating.
The Crossley name and the words Supplied by RCA.
Made in USA. The suppressor grid support.
The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 59 mm tall.
