The 1C5GT is a battery output valve with an output of 240 mW at 10% distortion. It is designed to operate in Class A.
The oval anode is blackened for better heat radiation and the two halves are stitched together.

Top view. The twin oxide coated filament strands are held in springs to provide tension. The diamond shape hole in the top mica provides a guide for the filament and holds the wires in place.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 63 mm tall.
