The CV1377 is a full wave rectifier based on the Mullard GZ34 and in fact identical to it. The specification requires performance of maximum PIV of 1,650 Volts and peak current of 760 mA and the reservoir capacitor is specified at 120 μF.
The anode has a central space for the cathode and four wings all set at right angles to one another.
The anodes with the valve turned through 90 degrees.
The envelope carries the commercial Mullard name, Type and Made in Great Britain as well as the CV reference. The Mullard logo is of the latter type.
The wide glass tube envelope is 32 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 69 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type CV1377 was first introduced in 1954. See also 1954 adverts.
