The NR86 (aka ARP15) is a variable μ HF pentode for RF or IF amplification. The prototype was the KTW63 and after 1941 was renamed the CV1195.
The feint etched Type designation.
Another attempt to make the lettering easy to see - not very good.
The top mica with the copper control grid support visible.
The classic envelope is 38 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 101 mm tall.
