Sensibly equivalent to:
CV1182 H42

Extras ▼

The NR60 is an indirectly heated UK Navy receiver triode. The Admiralty pattern or specification was W264 and the prototype was the H42. With the unification of UK Government valve procurement in 1941 with the CV Register the NR60 was renamed the CV1182. Thus this valve predates 1941.
That this is an M-OV valve is confirmed by the etched ellipse with the commercial H42 Type designation within.
The classic envelope is 41 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7 base pins, is 103 mm tall.
