This NR52 is metallised with a typical Mullard gold paint. The NR52 is a British Navy receiving valve, the commercial equivalent is a Mullard 354V triode, a design that dates from 1929 with improvements in 1930 and again in 1935. The μ for this valve was 40.The NR52 was used after 1941 when CV designations were introduced, the type then was classified as CV1173.![](../pics/acl0328a.jpg)
