The CV127 (commercial DV34)is a UHF disc seal triode based on the commercial S30A or 3B/401J.
Radiomuseum gives the following details: 40 W max plate dissipation. 15 W output power at 600 MHz. Centre-tapped double-helix thoriated tungsten filament, centre tapped for HF connection. Double disc-seal body.
On test the thoriated tungsten filament took 1.72 Amp at 6.3 Volts.
The pinch on the left holds the getter holder. The triode itself is conventional with the addition of the disc bonded to the anode. In use the ring would be clamped in a resonant cavity.
The three part stitched anode. The filament and control grid are hidden within the anode.
The three base pins. The two together are the filament.
The Thin pieces stitched into the anode clip onto the anode ring.
The wide glass tube envelope is 30 mm in diameter, and excluding the base pins is 107 mm tall.
