The CV185 is a directly heated triode based on the Mullard PM202.

The bright anode in this low power triode.

The oxide coated filament has four vertical passes through the grid.

The top mica showing the filament and grid through the central opening.

The two tensioning springs with the filament loops held in the V shape.

The classic envelope is 44 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 89 mm tall.
