The CV302 is a triode heptode frequency changer. The prototype was the Mullard ECH22 and is directly equivalent.
The KB/DA identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the DA identifies the maker as Mullard Radio Valve Co., Blackburn. However, the envelope states that this was made by Philips in Holland.
The reverse of the screening can is plain aluminium.
The pointed base pins and spigot with locating key.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8B base pins, is 66 mm tall.
