The CV1407 (commercially the Pen45) is an audio output valve. Performance is quoted in the literature as giving a push pull output of 11.5 Watts when operated with a load of 7,500Ω in class AB1.
The dome has the Mazda brand, the Pen45 Type designation, BVA and Made in England. The control grid heat radiator is clearly seen.The classic envelope is 45 mm in diameter and, excluding the MO base pins, is 94 mm tall.References: Data-sheet, 1040 & 1043. |
