Unknown Photographic Donation - Mark Mallison

The 1A5G is a dry cell audio output pentode with a maximum output of 0.1 Watts.

Electrically the Loctal 1LA4 is identical and a late 1940s re-design of this valve.

The anode is left bright and is cylindrical.

The wide glass tube envelope is 30 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 70 mm tall.
