The DAC21 is a battery diode triode. The design purpose was as detector and AF voltage amplifier.
The Philips/Mullard naming convention usually denotes the first number two to indicate a B8B base. Here the base is International Octal.
The base cap also has DAC21 printed on it - clearly intended.
The IO base pins.

The classic envelope is  mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is  mm tall.
