R Type

This exhibit looks to be a Morehead R Type but fixed onto a Moorhead-Marconi-DeForest base cap. In the Moorhead adverts of the time the R was sold as un-based.
Note the indentations on the envelope that hold the anode rigidly in place.

The thin glass tube envelope is 22 mm in diameter and, excluding the UV base pins, is 92 mm tall.
