The 7C5 is an audio output beam tetrode. The figures given are for single ended use with an anode load of 5,000Ω.
For push pull use with anode voltages of 285 Volts and anode current of 35 mA the power out is 14 Watts in class AB1 with an anode to anode load of 8,000 Ohms.
The oval anode is ribbed for mechanical rigidity.
The anode side seam, the location pip on the base shell and some of the lettering on the glass.
Made by Canadian Westinghouse.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8B base pins, is 65 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 1040. Type 7C5 was first introduced in 1939. See also 1939 adverts.
