The 12GW6 (also labelled 12DQ6B) is a television line output valve designed for the American 525 line 30 fps system.
The data-sheet also gives details for use as a Class A amplifier.
The Sylvania name and Made in USA. This image was taken looking at the working face of the anode where the side flange is present both for fixing and to offer extra cooling.
Looking along the grid axis. The inner wire grids are just visible and extending above and below the anode is the bright beam plate.
Here the glass foot can be seen. The valve is basically of all glass construction with wires soldered to the IO base pins.
The wide glass tube envelope is 38 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 92 mm tall.
