Osram The Signals Museum - RAF Henlow. Other N14 exhibits

The Osram N14 is an octal based audio output beam tetrode for use with dry batteries it is identical to the 1C5G.

The Osram brand label.

The filament tension springs at the top are raised more than expected. This is due to a broken filament.

The oxide coated filament can be seen at the top as thin white curled strands.

The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 76 mm tall.
