The USA service code VT-116 is a high gain screened pentode, commercially the 6SJ7 and dates from the late 1930s. It is a sharp cut-off type and is specified for RF or AF use.
The 'S' in the commercial Type designation indicates a version that is single ended - i.e. no top cap. The 6J7 has the top cap and slightly different characteristics.
The Ken-Rad maker's name.
The thin metal tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter and excluding the IO base pins, is 50 mm tall.
