The VT-195 is a full wave rectifier with an ionic heated cathode. Once the cathode is up to temperature the heating current can be switched off, but only if the load is above 30 mA.
The commercial Type designation of 1005 is also on the envelope.
Test results.
The thin metal tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 50 mm tall.
