The XP1.5V from Hivac is an audio output triode designed for hearing aid use. The Output load impedance is given as 8,000 Ohms and the output power as 0.0067 Watts. Or 6.7 mW. Battery drain was a vital consideration and hence the low output power but very low filament consumption. The 1.5 Volt requirement being so that dry cells could be used.The thin glass tube envelope is 15 mm in diameter with the Bakelite base being 16 mm diameter, and excluding the Sm4 base pins, is 52 mm tall.Referencs: 1049. |
