The HY75 is a VHF power triode. It is rated at 70 W output when operated in class C. The anode dissipation is 15 W.
The HY75 was designed to operate at between 50 and 300 MHz.
The enlarged portion of the valve shows the substantial anode and the rod-cage grid.
This valve was labelled as being packed and inspected in February 1957 by Fordhouse Co Sunderland.

The wide glass tube envelope is 32 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 80 mm tall.
