The CV specification indicates that the CV1934 is the 6J5GT.
The electrode assembly is sealed to a glass pinch. The envelope is a glass tube the width of the octal base. The anode plates are formed to leave an oval cavity for the grid and cathode.
The electrical characteristics of each half of the 6SN7 match those of the 6J5.
The anode on this exhibit is a single folded sheet that has been spot welded to the support rods.
The grid is wound on copper supports and the heater is wound as a double helix to minimise induced hum.
A closer view of the anode with oval cavity, the copper grid supports and the grid winding.
The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm diameter and excluding the IO base pins measures 69 mm tall.
