The PC86 is a purpose designed UHF oscillator triode for television reception.
This valve is an import and the origin is just indicated by the word Foreign.
The side of the tiny anode.
Face view of the anode. The actual working area is at the far end of the central depression. The rest of the metal is present to conduct away the heat.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins, is 48 mm long.
