The PCL84 is a triode and output pentode mainly for use as a video output stage in domestic television receivers.
The triode on the left. The screen grid of the pentode has a heat radiating fin attached to the top of the supports.
The triode with copper grid supports and gold plated grid winding.
The triode anode consists of equal parts. The pentode has a flat back plate and a shaped other section.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins it is 60 mm tall.
