The PCL85 is a triode and output pentode combined. The PCL85 was used as frame output valve on monochrome tv's and occasionally (ITT CVC5 chassis) colour tv's. The pentode section does not have an audio output rating.
The pentode has significant grid cooling fins. The triode is much smaller.
The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 71 mm tall.
References: Datasheet & 1040. Type PCL85 was first introduced in 1961.
