The 30PL1 is an output pentode. Designed for use on 300 mA heater chains, normally found in domestic televisions, it can be used for audio output, with an anode load of 6,000 Ohms, or as a frame timebase stage.The low impedance triode is on the left.The pentode section seen end on.The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 59 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & 1040.
