The Triotron E430N is an indirectly heated output triode for use in mains receivers with a parallel heater supply. The load impedance should be 1 kΩ and the output is 350 mW.
The E430N was introduced in 1931 so one assumes that this date of 1937 was a date of purchase or test.
The whole envelope is covered in gold coloured zinc screening paint.
The B5 base pins.
The balloon envelope is 46 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 94 mm tall.
