The 12SF5 is a high gain triode designed for RC coupled voltage amplifier use in audio equipment, especially vehicle battery powered sets. The 6SF5 differs only in heater rating.
The reverse of the metal tube envelope carries the RCA logo.
The thin metal tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 50 mm tall.
