The experimental type E1606 from M-OV came with an indication that it was a B65. But is this the prototype of the B65 or is it a later variation to meet a particular need - we have no details to say.
The B65 is an audio double triode with a 6.3 Volt heater. The B36 is the same valve except for the 12.6 volt heater.
One of the stitched anodes.
A closer view showing the grid supports and grid wire. The actual B65 is shorter and the blackened interior of the envelope obscures the structure.
The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins, is 79 mm tall.
