The Mullard 1267 is a cold cathode Thyratron. When conducting the voltage drop across the valve is 90 Volts. The discharge is initiated by a voltage on the trigger electrode.
The top mica disc fits tight to the envelope. The visible ribbed cylinder is a screen. The working electrodes are within.The wide glass tube envelope is 30 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins, is 81 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet. Type 1267 was first introduced in 1949.
