The 6V9 is a television triode heptode. The triode was designed as a pulse amplifier and the heptode section was designed for service as a noise gated sync. separator in colour television receivers. The 6V9/ECH200 replaced the ECH84.
The PCH200 (attached data-sheet) differs only in heater characteristics.
The AWV logo and Made in Australia. The triode is on the right and to the left are the many grid supports of the heptode.
Super Radiotron. The heptode control grid is wound on copper supports.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B10B base pins is 48 mm tall.
