The X24, is a triode heptode mixer / local oscillator for use as a frequency changer in superhet receivers.
The reverse carries the Marconi name and the metalising connection.
The thin glass tube envelope is 42 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7 base pins is 104 mm tall.
