The specification for the CV1193 was based on the X65 and before the CV register the service code was NR82. On this exhibit both the CV and X65 designations are present.
This triode hexode frequency changer was designed by M-OV.
The oscillator section would be run from a stabilised supply and the injection voltage was designed to be 10 Volts peak to peak. As was typical of the time the signal was applied to g1 and this was brought out to the top cap for maximum isolation.
The X65 Type designation.
The pinch and heater connections in the centre.
The screen grids g2 and g4 are linked above the top mica. The control grid is wound on copper supports. The suppressor grid is significantly further away from the cathode than the other grids.
The classic envelope is 38 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 100 mm tall.
