Extras ▼

The CV1102 is a double triode. The prototype was the M-OV BL63. The old service code VR102.
The KB/Z identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the Z identifies the maker as MO Valve Company, Hammersmith.
Apart from the pinch very little of the structure is visible.
One triode seen from below. The heater looks to be a single inverted V but there are several loops. The cathode tube is rectangular in cross section.
Seen from above the left cathode has a single heater visible while on the right two can be seen. In fact there are three loops in the right hand cathode.
The classic envelope is 45 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 113 mm tall.
