The VX8156 is the prototype of the CV4507 that was rugged version of the CV468.This miniature triode is in directly heated with a 6.3 Volt heater. The CV4507 was designed for use as a UHF oscillator.
The grid has a small heat radiator at the top. The insulated heater wire is formed from a coil of thinner wire. The thin glass tube envelope is 9 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8D base wires, is 36 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet. |
