The CV129 klystron oscillator has an International Octal base. CV129 is the successor to the CV87 and features a simplified tuning mechanism but a reduced tuning range. It is a 3 cm device and the data sheet specifies 9.375 GHz.
The reflector is connected to the top cap, and tuning is achieved by the action of the screw onto the sprung loaded circular plates.
The tuning screw.
the serial number on the metal case. The tuning screw is hard to turn against the force of the spring.
The co-axial output port from the resonator.
The thin glass tube envelope is 34 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 121 mm tall.
